Yes! We know the cake is often the highlight of the celebration.

You are welcome to bring a birthday cake, cupcakes, or other dessert to make the celebration special for your child. Most families simply bring their cake while we take care of the adventure.

Because the park itself is a themed experience, many parents find that bringing the cake is all they need.

Yes. Birthday groups are often scheduled outside regular park hours depending on availability.

This allows your group to enjoy the park together with more space and flexibility. Our team will work with you to select the best time for your celebration when you reserve your party date.

Overnight birthday adventures typically include up to 20 participants, with the birthday child celebrating free.

Additional guests can often be added depending on availability. Overnight experiences are designed to create a memorable group adventure with friends and family exploring the caverns together. We’ve had overnight groups of over 150, so our cave can accomodate large groups. 

Daytime birthday packages include a set number of participants depending on the package you select.

Most celebrations include 12–20 participants, and additional guests can usually be added for a per-person rate.

Our team will help make sure your group size works well for the experience you choose.

The guided cavern tour lasts just under one hour and covers approximately one third of a mile through the caverns.

Along the way you’ll explore massive formations, learn about the cave’s history, and enjoy one of the country’s top-rated underground laser light shows.

The caverns stay a comfortable 60 degrees year-round.

We recommend:

• Comfortable walking shoes with traction
• Light layers if visiting during warmer months
• A light jacket if you tend to get chilly

The cave tour has no stairs and includes benches along the route.

If you are sleeping in the cave, recognize what you normally have your thermostat in your home set to, as you may want an extra layer to sleep in as 60 degrees is comfortable in a cave when walking around, but is normally a few degrees beneath the average thermometer. 

Yes. Parking is free for all guests visiting Majestic Caverns.

Birthday groups can park together near the main entrance for easy access to the park.

Yes. Strollers, wagons, and baby backpacks are welcome.

The cavern entrance tunnel allows easy access for families with young children, making Majestic Caverns one of the most family-friendly caves to explore.

The following items are prohibited:

• Alcohol or drugs
• Magic Markers, spray paint, and aerosol cans
• Knives or chains
• Weapons
• Chemical weapons, including mace or pepper spray
• Fireworks
• Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars or chewing tobacco. Majestic Caverns is a tobacco free environment
• Bicycles and similar items are not allowed inside the park for the safety of all of our guests
• Flyers or handouts
• Majestic Caverns reserves the right to prohibit anything that management decides may pose safety concerns for guests or the environment of our historical live Caverns.

To help protect the caverns and keep everyone safe, we ask that guests avoid bringing:

• Confetti
• Glitter
• Outside sound systems
• Anything that could damage the natural cave formations

The following items are prohibited:

• Outside food or drink are not allowed inside of the caverns (these items often have acidic or carbonated properties which erode the live formations inside our Caverns)
• Cigarettes, cigars or chewing tobacco. Majestic Caverns is a tobacco free environment
• Chewing gum
• Majestic Caverns reserves the right to prohibit additional items that may pose safety concerns for either the live Caverns or other guests. If you have an unlisted item you would like to bring into the cave that is not listed as approved, please contact us to request approval in advance and recognize that if approval is not given, the item may not be allowed into the caverns.

Because the caverns are a protected natural environment, guests may not:

• Touch cave formations
• Bring confetti or glitter
• Use outside sound systems
• Leave trash or food behind

Our guides help ensure everyone enjoys the cave while preserving it for future generations.

While the natural environment prevents full ADA compliance, Majestic Caverns is more accessible than most caves.

• No stairs along the tour route
• Ramp access into the first chamber
• Benches available throughout the tour

Guests with mobility limitations may require assistance in certain areas.

Yes, pets are allowed in the park as long as they remain on a leash. Inside the cave we only allow pets if you are capable of holding them throughout the tour. People who bring their pets are responsible for cleaning up their pet’s waste. People with pets also will be held responsible for any damage their pet creates. Because of the indoor-outdoors nature of a cave, we cannot have any animals using the restroom inside the caverns, so they must be small enough to be held through the entirety of the tour.

Pets are not allowed for overnight adventures as their pee can erode formations and are unsafe for the cavern’s environment. 

Yes, we are proud to serve a variety of delicious and hormone free foods at our <a href=”cave-cafe”>Cave Cafe</a> in the gift shop. Be sure to try our award winning home-made fudge!

It does not rain inside the cave. Although, because this cave is still growing you may experience getting dripped on occasionally. We like to call these occasional drips “cave kisses.

Yes, we have a campground on the property.

No, we are a privately owned park that has stayed in the same family for over 100 years.

To protect the natural environment and ensure all guests enjoy their visit, outside sound systems are not allowed inside the caverns.
