What an unforgettable start to July! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at Libertas, our annual summer celebration of freedom at Majestic Caverns. Whether you came from Birmingham, Atlanta, or just around the corner in Childersburg, we were honored to have you with us.
A Celebration Full of Smiles and Summer Fun
From live entertainment and dancing performances to the dazzling New Laser Light Show inside the cave, Libertas was filled with joyful moments for all ages. Guests explored the caverns, cooled off at our seasonal water attractions, and spent meaningful time together—making memories that truly matter.
Family-Friendly Fun in a One-of-a-Kind Setting
At Majestic Caverns, we’re proud to offer a unique blend of history, science, adventure, and fun, all in a safe and welcoming environment for families. Libertas was designed as a fireworks-free, early-evening event that gave families—especially those with younger children—a chance to celebrate Independence Day without the late-night noise or heat.
With the cave’s constant 60-degree temperature, guests enjoyed a refreshing break from the Alabama sun while discovering one of America’s most historic caves—the first on record by President George Washington and a natural wonder with over 2,000 years of human history.
